MAC200 Battery Powered Wireless Security Camera from Brinno features a 1.3-Megapixel 1/4" CMOS sensor and captures 720p images. It can be setup to record at a fixed interval capture rate (time lapse), when triggered by motion detection, or in a hybrid mode combining fixed interval and motion detection recording. Playback of a whole days worth of footage is made quick and easy thanks to Fast Playback Time Lapse Video, which automatically converts images into several time lapse videos. Video is recorded to SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB in size.
The MAC200 is powered by two D cell batteries, enabling wire-free operation for added versatility and portability. In Time Lapse Mode, the batteries will keep the camera powered for up to 14 months (with a five minute interval setting). It can also be powered externally via 5 VDC. With a weather resistant housing, the MAC200 is suitable for outdoor security applications. Additionally, the housing allows an optional security lock cable to be added for anti-theft protection. Included with the camera is a wall mount, rubber strap, and tree strap.
3 Capture Modes
Captures images at fixed intervals, which can be set between one second and 24 hours.
Triggers image capturing when something enters the motion detection zone, which is about 20' in front of the camera. This is useful for capturing security threats on camera. This mode captures two to three frames per second, lasting for five seconds.
This mode combines both Motion Activation and Time Lapse modes. Images are captured in fixed intervals, but when something enters the motion detection zone the camera switches to Motion Detection mode the capture more images per second.
